The Fomo phenomenon?

FOMO stands for Fear Of Missing Out, which can be translated though except for fear of being left behind.

The phenomenon is particularly pronounced in adolescents and young adults.

It is difficult for young people to give up, for example from your smart device before falling asleep.

If parents refuse to use a smart device in the bedroom, young people may feel left out except for something important and be out the next day for conversations.

Social media shows what you “lose” yourself when you are not there, for example at a concert or amusement park. It looks appealing when you’re alone and browsing through pictures and stories. However, it is especially important to remember that social media can distort how much a person can be involved in the activities of different communities. A person must be guaranteed a daily rest from visual stimuli and the screening time should not be extended before going to bed in order to have an adequate and high-quality night's sleep.
